Changing Times in Israel: Assessing What’s at Stake for Marginalized Groups 

For nearly four months, hundreds of thousands of Israelis have taken to the streets to protest their government’s plans to make sweeping changes to the country’s judiciary. If carried out, these proposed changes would enable the ruling coalition to reverse groundbreaking Supreme Court rulings affirming the rights of women, members of the LGBTQ community, and asylum seekers.
