“Cultural Humility” is defined as a process of self-exploration and self-critique combined with a willingness to learn from others. It involves entering a relationship with another person with the intention of honoring their beliefs, customs, and values. How is cultural humility relevant for lawyers working with immigrant clients? Join HIAS’ Pro Bono and Partnerships Team and Oraneet Shikmah Orevi, HIAS’ Director of DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice) on February 5, 2025 at 2:30 – 4:00 pm ET (11:30 – 1:00 pm PT) to learn more about this important concept and how lawyers can incorporate it into their work with their clients, who often come from different backgrounds (national, ethnic, cultural, religious, socioeconomic, etc.). Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be available to live participants for certain jurisdictions. Please register in advance.
