In recognition of Women’s History Month, join the HIAS Pro Bono and Partnerships team as we discuss Asylum and Other Humanitarian Relief for Survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). This introductory training will provide an overview of asylum claims for survivors of GBV, and will address common alternative forms of humanitarian legal protection that may be relevant to GBV survivors in the United States. We will also discuss best practices in working with survivors of trauma. Thanks to the generous sponsorship by Chapman & Cutler LLP, this training will be offered free of charge. CLE credit will be available for certain jurisdictions for live participants.
