Making a cryptocurrency donation is another way you can help HIAS create a world in which refugees find welcome, safety, and opportunity. Your crypto donation will be transferred to HIAS’ account and converted into U.S. dollars, allowing us to immediately support refugees and asylum seekers in more than 20 countries around the world.  

Donating crypto is safe, easy, and fast. Using the widget on this page is a quick, three-step process: 

  1. Select which cryptocurrency you’d like to donate and enter your gift amount
  2. Provide your basic information and email address
  3. Make your gift!

After making your gift, you can choose to receive an automatically generated tax receipt that will be sent to the email address you provided. Please print or save the message for your personal records.

Your crypto donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law if you pay taxes in the U.S. By making a charitable gift, you may also be eligible to significantly reduce what you would otherwise owe in capital gains taxes.
