UPDATE:
Dear Applicant/US Tie,
HIAS’ RSC Austria is aware of the proclamation issued by the White House on June 4 (RESTRICTING THE ENTRY OF FOREIGN NATIONALS TO PROTECT THE UNITED STATES FROM FOREIGN TERRORISTS AND OTHER NATIONAL SECURITY AND PUBLIC SAFETY THREATS).
At this time, the suspension of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program and Stop Work Orders received by HIAS from the U.S. government remain in place. RSC Austria is awaiting further detailed instructions related to the suspension of the USRAP and does not have additional information to provide at this time.
Please see detailed messaging below which remains in effect.
Executive Order 14163, Realignment of the United States Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP), has halted refugee travel to the United States and all resettlement processing. RSC Austria, managed by HIAS, is awaiting further detailed instructions related to the suspension of the USRAP and does not have additional information to provide at this time.
In addition, due to Stop Work Orders received by HIAS from the U.S. government, RSC Austria cannot provide any case status updates or make any updates to your case information.
Therefore, do not believe anyone who claims to be able to move, fast track, or influence the processing of a case and report such instances of fraud to concerns@hias-vienna.at.

RSC Austria
With the assistance of the HIAS-managed Resettlement Support Center Austria (RSC), refugees arrive in the United States, often joining up with family members. Once in the U.S., Iranian religious minorities can live free of discrimination, asylum seekers from Israel can start a new life with an immigration status that opens doors, and Afghan refugees can find opportunities to thrive.
