HIAS Moldova provides support and assistance to underserved refugees, those in rural areas, and intersectional vulnerable refugees. We aim to promote economic integration, community engagement, and protection, address gender-based violence, and improve mental health services. Our ultimate goal is to empower refugees to achieve a self-reliant and stable life. We believe in working together with the refugees, host communities, and local actors to create inclusive and welcoming environments.
Our Work
At HIAS Moldova, we empower underserved and vulnerable refugees by promoting economic integration, community engagement, and protection, and addressing gender-based violence and mental health. We care deeply about their well-being and provide a compassionate approach to our work.
We work to protect the right of women, girls, and LGBTQ communities to access their full potential and live free from violence by supporting survivors, mitigating risks, and transforming beliefs that perpetuate GBV.
End Gender-Based ViolenceOur economic inclusion programs ensure that refugees have economic opportunities to earn sustainable income and start their lives anew.
