New York State Department of Labor Workforce Development Team

The New York State Department of Labor (DOL) Workforce Development Team is connecting New Yorkers withjob opportunities. Here are the key highlights:

-The DOL helps New Yorkers prepare for and connect to jobs across New York City, in every sector of the economy. Many jobs require minimal (or no) English skills and are in sectors (construction, food service, and home health care) that hire large numbers of immigrants.

-Career services, such as resume preparation and vocational training, are offered virtually and at 95 Career Centers state-wide including 2 in Manhattan one downtown (199 Church Street, 3rd Floor) and one in Harlem (215 West 125th Street 6th Floor).

-All services offered by the DOL are free of charge, with translation services available for those in need.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Melissa regarding Career Services or Kelly regarding business partnerships.
