Ακόμα μια δικαίωση προσφύγων απέναντι σε κατηγορίες για παράνομη μεταφορά αλλοδαπών Η HIAS Greece εκπροσώπησε δύο Σουδανούς αιτούντες άσυλο που κατηγορούνταν για παράνομη μεταφορά αλλοδαπών στην Ελλάδα και παράνομη είσοδο στη χώρα. Το δικαστήριο αθώωσε ομόφωνα τους κατηγορούμενους από την κατηγορία της λαθρεμπορίας, αποδεχόμενο ότι ο μοναδικός τους σκοπός ήταν να φτάσουν με ασφάλεια στην Ευρώπη, όπου θα μπορούσαν να υποβάλουν αίτηση ασύλου.
