HIAS Greece Successfully Defends Humanitarian on Trial for Assisting Refugees

Pieter and 23 other humanitarians were charged with human smuggling in 2018 for providing humanitarian assistance to asylum seekers in Greece. After eight years, they were acquitted on all charges.
