Join the HIAS Clergy Council

Judaism and all religions emphasize the importance of protecting the vulnerable. At HIAS, the moral authority that your voice brings to the public helps HIAS better serve the millions of forcibly displaced people around the world.

Your participation on the HIAS Clergy Council helps us encourage deeper commitments from religious communities and advocate in the public sphere for policies that center human dignity for all.  By joining the Council, you will receive exclusive programs, resources, and training to enhance your knowledge base and advocacy skills.

An executive leadership team of the Clergy Council will be tasked with issuing public letters on behalf of the HIAS Clergy Council members when they deem it warranted. These letters will help raise a moral voice in support of the 100+ million forcibly displaced people around the world. Clergy letters will be issued only with only individual names and will not include any institutions you may serve.
