Spending Patterns of Displaced Ukrainians in Poland

In 2023, to better understand Ukrainian refugees’ prospects for economic inclusion in Poland, HIAS and Mastercard collaborated on a project analyzing transaction data from Ukrainian-issued credit cards from June 2021 through June 2023. The fact sheet showcases the estimated local impact of Ukrainians displaced to Poland, and highlights the ways in which this population can be better supported in different stages of displacement and integration into their host countries.
